Hinckley AFC will be aiming to makeHinckley AFC badge it three wins out of three when they take on Conference North side Tamworth in the club’s first home match tomorrow night, kick off 7-30pm.
After convincing wins over Heather St John’s (4-2) and Bartley Green Illey (11-1), confidence is high in Carl Abbott’s side.
But the former Wolverhampton Casuals boss knows that today will be the toughest test so far.
‘This evening’s game will certainly give us a benchmark ofTamworth badge where we are at. I feel that the team is building steadily and surely, and I would be perfectly happy to start the competitive season now.
‘In the matches so far, I hope we have demonstrated to the supporters the style of play that we will be looking to employ throughout the season.
‘I feel that this is extremely important. I want the supporters to have a side that they can be proud of, so they can look forward to watching us play.’
Hinckley will be without strikers Marco Adaggio and Luke Richards, who have work and holiday commitments respectively.
