Bellingham: It was lovely

Hinckley AFC’s new signing Mark Bellingham said that the club’s opening day 3-0 victory at Southam United sets them up for the weeks and season ahead.
Speaking after the game, he said: ‘It was lovely. It sets us up ready for the next game. Three points, three goals and a clean sheet is a nice start.’
The forward only signed for Hinckley during the week, from league counterparts Bromsgrove Sporting, and said that he was pleased to hear the fans in good spirits.
‘It was nice to come here, and play for a good team. I’ve been lucky to play for some very good teams over the last few years.
‘Hinckley have got a very good fan base. It was good to hear a bit of cheer and a bit of shouting today. After signing from Bromsgrove, it’s good to be a part of Hinckley AFC’s history.
Bellingham also had a simple message for any fans thinking about attending Tuesday night’s home game against Uttoxeter Town, kick off 7-45pm.
‘Get down there! There will be goals, and hopefully a bit of football as well. The only thing I need is some directions!’
