Match Preview: Uttoxeter Town (a)

Hinckley AFC will aim to make it a lucky thirteen unbeatenUttoxeter Town badge in their first match of 2015 at Uttoxeter Town tomorrow, kick off 3pm.

Tomorrow’s match will be Uttoxeter’s first in three weeks after last week’s trip to Heather St John’s was postponed. The hosts, who have the Midland League First Division’s top scorer James Curley in their ranks, sit fifth in the table, with 39 points from their 21 games.

Hinckley, who themselves haven’t played since BoxingHinckley AFC badge Day’s 2-0 win over Nuneaton Griff, lie directly above Uttoxeter in fourth, and could include new signings Michael Williams and Oli Basham in their squad tomorrow.

Williams impressed in both games for Stafford Town in December, and will be a ‘fantastic addition’ according to manager Carl Abbott. Basham is just seventeen years of age, and joins from Alvis Sporting.

Uttoxeter play at Oldfield Sports Club, Springfield Road, Uttoxeter, ST14 7JX, and the ground is easily accessible from the A50.
