AFC Set to Swing Into Action at Footgolf Open

AFC Set to Swing Into Action at Footgolf Open

Pre-season training has so far seen the team build up towards match fitness, but with the big kick-off drawing ever closer Hinckley AFC manager Carl Abbott will be looking for an uncharacteristic under-par performance from his team.

Supporters worrying about any drop in standards can rest assured however, as this will be ‘par for the course’ for all participants to take part in the Midlands pre-season Footgolf Open on Sunday 2nd August.

As well as improving the fitness levels of the players, another key part of pre-season is to help build team spirit and this event promises to do exactly that, helping to integrate new players and old as part of what looks set to be a fun afternoon for all taking part.

So far the likes of Coleshill Town and Romulus will join Abbo & co as they leave the clubs behind to take on the specially designed 18-hole course, with more Midland League clubs hopefully taking part.
