Pearson Joins

Hinckley AFC are delighted to announce the signing of former Football League striker Greg Pearson.

The 30-year-old former Burton Albion man joins from Halesowen Town, for whom he has made 17 appearances this year, scoring three goals.

The ex-England C international had his most successful spell with Bishops Stortford – finding the net 40 times in 65 games for the Conference South outfit before his move to the Brewers.

He scored 18 goals in helping Burton reach the Football League is 2008-09, and netted 14 times in his first year in League Two.

Since then, he has played for the likes of Grimsby Town, Nuneaton Town and Brackley Town, and joins Carl Abbott’s ranks ahead of Saturday’s trip to Stafford Town.
