Hinckley AFC play the first of four games in a week whenHinckley AFC badge bottom of the table Bolehall Swifts visit St John’s Park tomorrow afternoon, kick off 3pm.

Carl Abbott’s side travel to Heath Hayes, AEI Rugby and Coventry United in the next eight days, but start their hectic period of games against a Swifts side who are at the foot of the Midland League Division One table.

With the heavy period of games coming up, Abbo has moved to add strength in depth to the spine of the team, and has added midfielder Lee Butler to his squad. A former Chasetown man, Lee arrives from Romulus and is in line for his debut tomorrow.

After finishing fourth last season, below Hinckley only on Midland Football Leaguegoals scored, this campaign has been more difficult for Bolehall. They have, however, picked up four wins from their 22 games and are only one point adrift of second bottom Southam United in a tight battle to avoid relegation.

In Simeon Smith, though, they have recently signed a striker who scored 22 goals in this division last year and he looks to be key to their hopes of avoiding the drop.

Having been held 1-1 by Coventry Copsewood last time,Bolehall Swifts badge Hinckley will be looking to pick up all three points in their quest to qualify for the FA Cup next season, a competition which brought so much success this year.

Heath Hayes’ victory over Bolehall in midweek meant that Hinckley slipped back down to eighth place, but with the Cannock outfit in Staffordshire Vase action tomorrow, Hinckley will move back up to seventh with a win.

Bolehall had the upper hand in the three meetings of these sides last year, with Hinckley’s memorable stoppage time comeback at Rene Road the only time they could avoid defeat against Swifts. Braces from Marco Adaggio and Luke Richards gave Hinckley a comfortable win in an ill-tempered affair earlier this season.
