Matt Gadsby RIP

Today, Friday 9th September 2016, marks the tenth anniversary of the passing of Matt Gadsby.
It was exactly a decade ago that Matt collapsed on the pitch while playing for Hinckley United in a Conference North match away at Harrogate Town, and paramedics were sadly unable to revive him.
Matt’s name lives on through our social headquarters ‘Gadsby’s’ at the former Greene King Stadium, while his daughter Amelia still holds the number one membership of Hinckley AFC.
RIP Matt – gone but never forgotten.
