Clothes collection day

Hinckley AFC will be holding a clothes collection day on Monday 2nd January at our home match against Heath Hayes.
In conjunction with club sponsors Jimmy Joe’s and Easy Laundry, the club are encouraging supporters young and old to bring their unwanted clothes to the game to be recycled with our partners.
Any good quality clothes, pairs of shoes, belts or bags will be accepted, so if you receive any of those items for Christmas that you don’t want, bring them to St John’s Park in our first New Year home game and be reassured that they’ll go abroad to someone who does!
Unfortunately, we are unable to take any soiled or damaged items, wet or damp clothes, dressing gowns, pyjamas, towels, bedding or underwear.
Easy Laundry have been club partners for each of the three years since our formation, and currently sponsor the training kit, and through Jimmy Joe’s they are helping to reduce the need for landfill sites
Hinckley AFC commercial director, Jason Tipping, said: “A clothes collection day is something we’ve been looking to hold for a while, and we felt that straight after Christmas would be the ideal time for our supporters to recycle their clothes.
“This is another example of how we are strengthening our relationship with both the local community and club partners, and we’re looking forward to teaming up with Jimmy Joes and Easy Laundry on the day.”
