G Seller & Co lottery has big winner

One lucky player of the G Seller & Co Hinckley Community Lottery has seen their weekend get a whole lot better after winning nearly £3,000 in this week’s draw.

The magic of FA Cup weekend saw Hinckley AFC record a cup upset at Worksop Town, and has now stretched to the lottery with supporter Ian ‘Mac’ Robinson scooping the prize fund totalling £2,985.

He matched this week’s balls 8, 14, 17 and 24 to pick up the highest prize fund since the lottery started back in 2014.

Mac’s first response at being told the news was “wow”, and reacting to it he said: “I’m a bit shocked at having won but absolutely delighted at the same time.

“I’m not sure yet what I’m going to do with it. My granddaughter has just graduated from university so perhaps the money could help her. It would also be nice to go on a holiday.”

With Mac becoming the biggest winner of the lottery thus far, there’s no better time for you to get involved with the Hinckley Community Lottery.

Not only do individuals benefit, but clubs or societies who join get their rewards too, with 25% of the entry going back to the partner club.

Hinckley AFC director Russ Abbott explains: “If a club or organisation has 100 members who join the Hinckley Community Lottery, that club will get £25 per week back.

“As a club, we’re always looking to strengthen our relationship with the local community and this is a mutually beneficial way for us and the organisations around us to do just that.”

To enter the lottery, download the Hinckley Community Lottery entry form and post it to Hinckley AFC, Green Acres, Aston Lane, Aston Flamville, Hinckley, LE10 3AA. Organisations looking to join should email info@hinckleyafc.co.uk for more information on how joining could benefit you.
