Match Preview: Loughborough University (a)

After a ten-day break, Hinckley AFC return to action with the trip to Loughborough University in the Leicestershire Challenge Cup tomorrow.

AFC have had an extended break since the 2-2 draw with Studley last week, but now return to action in the county cup with the higher level Scholars the opposition.

The Midland League Premier side sit 15th in their league, having won three, drawn three and lost five of their 11 league games.

But they were knocked out of the FA Vase on Saturday by a last minute Heather St John’s winner, with Hinckley looking to make it a second home defeat on the bounce for Loughborough.

Joe Boachie, with 12 goals, is their leading scorer thus far but he has been well supported by Matt Crookes and Chris Eneremadu.

This is the first round of the 16-team tournament currently held by Coalville Town. Lutterworth Town, Barwell and Anstey Nomads are already through to round two after winning their ties last week.

Widely regarded as one of the better grounds on the local non-league circuit, Loughborough University play at the Holywell Sports Complex, Holywell Park, Loughborough. Sat Nav users should use postcode LE11 3AJ.

Supporters should enter using the west entrance of the University (LE11 3AJ). After going through the security barrier, keep straight on at both of the small traffic islands and bear left on entry to the general spectator car park.
