The Board of Directors of Hinckley AFC is pleased to announce that Bryan White has been elected as Chairman of the Football Club.
The club had been running without a Chairman for a couple of months, waiting for the results of nominations and subsequent appointments following the AGM in February. Once the constitution of the board was known, the Board unanimously elected Bryan to the Chair.
On his election, Bryan said: “I am honoured that the Board has chosen me to be Chairman of the club that I have been involved with since its formation.
“I will be answerable to all supporters and the board, but my aim is to move the club forward, working with the Board, whilst ensuring we stay within the financial constraints that must be in place for a club like ours.”
Other official roles were continued by Dave Jackson who remains Treasurer and Company Secretary.
He said: “Bryan was an obvious choice for Chairman. He has been following Hinckley football since the days of Athletic, was a member of the working group that formed the club and was one of the founding board members in 2014.
“I myself will carry on in the role of Treasurer and do my best to ensure the club maintains a solid financial footing to move forward.”
