Match Preview: Paget Rangers (h)

Hinckley AFC could record back-to-back wins for the first time since November when they host Paget Rangers at the Welfare Ground this afternoon, kick off 3pm.

AFC bagged a much-needed win with a 1-0 win at Heath Hayes, in which Ryan Mills’ header earned all three points.

Now, they head back to the Welfare Ground for the penultimate time this season to face a Paget side who inflicted AFC’s first defeat of the season back in September.

That day, Paget won 3-0 at Coles Lane, while they have had some impressive results this season having beaten Atherstone Town and Leicester Road.

The Bears sit right in the middle of the table, 10th out of 19 teams, with 45 points from their 33 games thus far.

But they have lost six of their last eight games, failing to score in five of them – while AFC have lost five of eight.

John Ramshaw’s side could jump up two spots in the table if they win, as they aim to finish the campaign on a high in the final three games.
