Match Preview: Studley (a)

Hinckley AFC take on Studley for the second time in three days hoping to continue their unbeaten start to the Midland League Division One campaign.

AFC visit The Beehive for their first league game in just over a week, after Ben Ashby’s stoppage time winner gave Courtney Belford’s men victory at Chelmsley last Monday.

The weekend break for the FA Vase halted that unbeaten run, but Belford’s men have a win and two draws to their name in Division One from their three games thus far.

Tomorrow they travel to a Studley side who are yet to win in the league, but having finished third last season proved their impressive credentials in the Vase tie at Kirkby Road at the weekend.

AFC have won three of their previous six trips to Studley including the first ever match there in which Richards scored twice (pictured above) – drawing two and losing one.

The game will be Studley’s first home match of the new season, so the attendance is limited to 150 and we recommend that supporters give themselves plenty of time. Studley play at The Beehive, Abbeyfields Drive, Studley, Warwickshire, B80 7BF.
