Two matches moved as Kirkby Road handover delayed

Two Hinckley AFC home matches have moved grounds as the handover of Kirkby Road has been delayed.

Our first game back at the ground was planned for the visit of Blackstones on Saturday 30th October, followed by Saffron Dynamo on Tuesday 2nd November.

However, delays mean the ground will not be ready until the following week.

As a result, the Saffron Dynamo match will be played back at St John’s Park.

However, Heather are at home on Saturday 30th so we have had to find an alternative venue. We’ll play Blackstones at Bedworth United’s The Oval on that date.

We’d like to thank both Heather and Bedworth for assisting at short notice and we now hope to be back at Kirkby Road for the visit of Ingles on Tuesday 9th November.

Despite the ground not being ready for football, Barwell say it is in a position for a tidy this weekend and after asking for supporters to help.

Please bring a brush from 10.30am this Sunday morning to help get Kirkby Road ready for the return of football.

This will also be your first chance to see the ground in its new-look state.
