Hinckley AFC snapped up goalkeeper Ryan Young following his departure from Worcester Raiders in October 2023.

He spent the previous two-and-a-half seasons with Raiders, helping them to promotion to step five and making more than 100 appearances at Sixways.

He picked up their Chairman’s Player of the Season last term, but departed to play in a league closer to home with a baby due.

As a youngster, he spent three seasons with Redditch Borough in Division Two before moving to Studley, where he played nearly 50 times before linking up with Worcester Raiders.
