Experienced midfielder Tom Weale enjoyed years of success in the Midland League pyramid and will hope to add to that with Hinckley AFC after joining in the summer of 2020.

Gifted on the ball, he started his career with Atherstone Town before being picked up by Barwell in 2012 for his break into the higher levels of the pyramid.

From there, he linked up with Coleshill Town and was a pivotal part of their side that finished second twice in three seasons, and fifth in the year in between.

Among his 150 games for the club, he also reached the semi-finals of the FA Vase with Coleshill in 2016/17, losing out to eventual winners South Shields.

That was to be his last season at Pack Meadow, as he dropped down a league to follow manager Simon Lyons to Heather St John’s that summer.

He spent two seasons at St John’s Park, captaining them to the Division One title in 2018/19, before again following Lyons to Romulus where he spent the shortened 2019/20 season.

Now with close to more than 250 games under his belt in the Midland League, the talented ball playing midfielder adds title winning experience and an eye for a pass to the Hinckley midfield.
