An experienced centre forward, Joe Obi was part of the Atherstone Town side that won the Division One in 2021/22 and joined Hinckley AFC less than a year later.

Primarily a front player, he is also comfortable playing at centre back and adds versatility to the playing squad as well as his experience and title-winning knowhow.

Obi first joined Atherstone in 2018, and has spent much of the last five seasons there either side of a brief spell with Lichfield City.

He scored more than 50 times in more than 100 games for them, including in their memorable FA Vase win away to Stockton Town in 2020 which Joe McNulty was also a part of.

Before that, he spent five years at Bolehall Swifts and has also featured for Heather St John’s and Coton Green, amassing nearly 300 Division One appearances across the last ten seasons and scoring more than a century of goals.
