Under 18s midfielder Preston Bitemo signed first-team forms ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The young central player made his first foray into senior football in the friendly against Birstall United that summer and impressed a great deal, with joint-manager Joe Conneely saying he was one of the standout players on the pitch.

And he took to first-team football like a duck to water, making the number four shirt his own and winning the Supporters’ Young Player of the Year award in the title-winning team.
