Hinckley AFC will be looking to record another sweet victory when they visit Cadbury Athletic tomorrow afternoon, kick off 3pm.

Cadbury currently sit one place above Hinckley inCadbury Athletic the league in 4th, having won their last two matches, including a 1-0 victory against Hinckley’s landlords Heather St John’s during the week.

Hinckley, however, have a game in hand on tomorrow’s opponents, and after last week’s comprehensive win over Pelsall Villa, manager Carl Abbott includes two new signings in his squad for tomorrow’s match.Hinckley AFC badge

Central defender Dominic Smith was a target for the club in the summer, but was lured by Conference North side Leamington. However, after a couple of injuries, Abbott has recruited Smith to bolster his back line, whilst Leamington will continue to monitor his progress.

Attacking midfielder Ryan Taylor is a young player with real promise. Only seventeen years of age, he will initially feature in the first team before the club’s coaching staff decide on the best steps for his development.

Due to their usual ground at Bournville not having floodlights, which are required at step six, Cadbury are currently ground sharing at Alvechurch’s Lye Meadow Ground, B48 7RS.

To get there, exit the M42 at Junction Two, and take the A441 dual carriageway towards Redditch. At the first island, take the B4120 towards Alvechurch. The ground is on the right after approximately a mile.
