January Player of the Month – The Nominees

Hinckley AFC’s Player of the Month vote for January is now up and running, and you have until 20th February to vote for your choice.

Marco Adaggio was instrumental in AFC’s 3-0 win at Uttoxeter in their first game of 2015, scoring the first and assisting the third to round off the win, while Ross Clarke continued his solid midfield partnership with Nathan Walker.

JJ Melligan assisted Luke Richards’ opener against Pilkington XXX, before scoring Hinckley’s second from a penalty that he won himself.

Alex Morris and Dom Smith were at the heart of Hinckley’s defence in both away games. They kept a clean sheet against Uttoxeter, and Smith powered home the winning goal in stoppage time against Pershore.

The final nominee is Nathan Walker. The midfielder scored a superb second from a free kick against Uttoxeter, and helped turn around the game against Pershore with two assists after coming on as a second half substitute.
