Abbo Adds Duo

Abbo Adds Duo

Hot on the heels of the arrival of goalkeeper Tom Cross yesterday, manager Carl Abbott has made two further additions to his squad.

Midfielder Ryan Seal and defender Nathaniel Caines are the latest additions and both are available for the visit of Bromyard Town in the FA Vase on Saturday.

A prolific goalscoring midfielder Abbo said Ryan was ‘a top priority target in the summer’, but he opted to stay at step five with Oadby Town.

Ryan arrives from Oadby having found the net three times in eleven games for them in the United Counties League this season. He joined Oadby from Kirby Muxloe in the summer, and enjoyed a successful time last season when he scored 32 goals in 42 games for the then Midland League Premier Division outfit.

Nathaniel is a left sided full back who was a young professional at Birmingham City, Walsall and Doncaster Rovers before moving into non-league with Romulus.

He reached the final twenty contestants in Sky’s Reality TV show ‘Football’s Next Star’ (the winner earned a full time contract at Inter Milan) before linking up with Halesowen Town, where he was a contracted player for a number of seasons.

Welcome to the club, Ryan and Nathaniel!
