October’s Ponchinello’s Player of the Month: Nominees

The nominees for Ponchinello’s Player of the Month for October have been revealed today, with all five players needing your votes.

After a month that saw four wins followed by two defeats, AFC scored 28 goals in six matches this month, conceding ten.

Seven of those goals were scored in just four matches by the first nominee Marco Adaggio. Despite being sent off at Bolehall, Marco started the month with a bang, scoring a hat-trick in the FA Vase victory over Bromyard and another brace Bolehall.

Club captain Luke Richards is next on the list. Luke scored nine goals in five matches this month, and made his 50th appearance for the club away at Pershore.

Ryan Seal’s impressive first month as part of the squad earns him a place on the shortlist. Man of the Match against Heath Hayes, he appeared in all six matches in October, scoring four goals and setting up numerous others.

September’s winner Rico Taylor has put in another consistent string of performances in October that sees him earn a nomination. Man of the Match against Bromyard Town, the former Studley winger will hope to retain his crown this month.

The final nominee is Sean Williams. ‘Willo’ caused nightmares for left backs throughout the month, and rounded off the win at Bolehall by scoring the fifth goal.
