Hinckley AFC will be looking to reach the Semi Finals of the
Jelson Homes Senior Cup for the second consecutive year when they take on Leicester Road at St John’s Park this evening, kick off 7-30pm.
The Quarter Final clash comes just over two weeks after the last dramatic meeting between the two sides, in which Hinckley capitalised on Will Highland’s red card to overturn a two goal deficit and win 3-2.
And Leicester Road will be keen to gain some sort of revenge as they aim to extend Hinckley’s run of two straight defeats.
Tonight’s visitors recorded an impressive victory over
Nuneaton Griff at the weekend that maintains their place in fifth spot in the league. James Hicks again found the net as he approaches twenty goals for the season and is now just one goal behind Marco Adaggio’s tally for the campaign and two behind Luke Richards.
