Twelve Moments of Christmas: Number Three

We’ve reached the top three on our favourite moments of 2015, with the FA Cup victory over Redditch United taking the bronze medal position.

Carl Abbott’s men overturned a Redditch side who are flying high three leagues above AFC in one of the biggest upsets of the First Qualifying Round.

Goals from Sean Williams and Marco Adaggio meant that AFC raced into a two goal lead, and although The Reds pulled a goal back, Hinckley clung on for the memorable victory.

The win sparked jubilant scenes on the pitch, on the terraces and in the dressing room, where club photographer Matt Buchan from Alpha Sports Imaging captured the picture below.
