Fourteen retentions confirmed as four more join

Tomlinson, Blenkinsopp, Harvey, KalendaThe latest four players to commit to Hinckley AFC for the 2016-17 season are Mitchell Tomlinson, Mike Harvey, Jean Kalenda and David Blenkinsopp.
All four players have signalled their intent to continue their careers at the club, taking the number of confirmed retentions to fourteen.
Tomlinson played the most league games of any Hinckley player in 2015-16, starting at right back before slotting seamlessly into the heart of the back four and winning the Young Player of the Year award as a result.
Harvey joined from Southam United in February, and made nine appearances in total. He won The Printing Works Man of the Match against Pershore Town and scored his first goal in the final league game at Littleton.
The versatile Kalenda made 31 appearances last season, and was nominated for two Ponchinello’s Player of the Month awards. His only goal came in the FA Cup win at Bromsgrove Sporting.
Meanwhile, Blenkinsopp arrived in February but his appearances were limited through injury. Carl Abbott expects a full pre-season to do the former Nuneaton Town striker good.
Abbo has now retained the majority of last season’s cup winning squad.
