Rachel Bradford appointed Secretary

Hinckley AFC are pleased to welcome Rachel Bradford to the club as our new Company Secretary.
Rachel joins AFC with a wealth of administrative experience, as well as being a former teacher, and will start her role with immediate effect with the gradual transfer of tasks.
She said: ‘When I learned of the supporter driven heart of HAFC I was determined to become more involved and share the skills I have developed as a teacher and as a small business owner; to help realise the dreams of the club.
‘I am a friendly, determined and enthusiastic person, it takes a lot more than a wheelchair to stop me being heard or chasing a dream!
‘The Club is now a big part of my son’s life as well as mine and my Dad’s, so when the opportunity to work as Club Secretary came along I leapt at the chance.
‘The club is our community, therefore the club is the Hinckley people. I will always endeavour to be the mouthpiece of those members and our community to the Board of Directors and hopefully my skills can help to continue to drive our club forward and ultimately bring us back home as the footballing heart of the town.’
Steve Jelfs, who was the club’s Secretary before becoming Chairman, said: ‘I’m delighted to welcome Rachel to the club in her new role as Secretary.
‘Her experience with administrative matters is excellent, and she will help us become more efficient in our day-to-day running of the club.
‘Her addition allows me to concentrate more fully on the chairmanship, as well as separating the Secretary’s role from that of the directors.’
On behalf of everyone at Hinckley AFC, welcome on board Rachel!
