From ‘Oh When the Reds’ to ‘Oh When the Saints’ – Southampton and England goalkeeper Fraser Forster has kindly spread some festive cheer for our Junior ‘keeper Harvey.
Harvey was delighted to receive the former Newcastle United stopper’s signed gloves at the Juniors’ Christmas party yesterday afternoon having just finished intensive treatment.
Our big thanks to the England international and Southampton kit manager Mark Forbes who made it all possible, along with our very own kitman Geordie for making the initial contact.
Fraser joins the AFC first team, reigning BBL champions Leicester Riders and many other local junior sides in putting his ‘Thumbs up for Harvey’ – after the ‘keeper was diagnosed with leukemia in April.
