Hinckley World Cup 2017: The Final

With two days left before New Year’s Eve, it’s time to vote for your favourite Hinckley AFC moment of 2017.
We’ve placed all the quarter final winners straight into the four-way final so you can decide on the winner before the year is out.
The poll for the Hinckley World Cup 2017 final will be active on our Twitter page for exactly two days before we announce the winner on New Year’s Eve.
If you need a reminder, here are the four games that made it to the final…
Hinckley AFC 5-0 Berkhamsted
Could our first game of the calendar year be your favourite? The year certainly started with a bang, three goals in the first nine minutes left higher level Berko shellshocked as AFC reached the last 16 of the FA Vase for the first time. With Marske away next week we couldn’t do it again, could we?
Cadbury Athletic 0-3 Hinckley AFC
A moment more about the occasion than the game itself, and our pink-kitted World Cancer Day initiative just over a week after the passing of our friend Simon. Most certainly a moment to be proud of.
Hinckley AFC 3-1 Leicester Road
Hardly a surprise that a derby day win coming from behind makes it through – but was it your favourite? Building up a head of steam under Dale Belford, two from Hart and one for Willis turned the game around and ensured AFC took the bragging rights for the fifth meeting in six.
Hinckley AFC 3-1 Deeping Rangers
The most recent of our finalists and another FA Vase classic, but does this upset triumph over the others? Hart opened the scoring, Perkins and Williams headed home the goals to set up our big away day at Marske in round four.
The poll will be active until 7pm on New Year’s Eve, when we’ll reveal the winner. Head to https://twitter.com/hinckley_afc to cast your vote. Get voting!
