Match Preview: Chelmsley Town (h)

Hinckley AFCLuke Richards will become the first player to make 100 appearances for Hinckley AFC if he plays in tomorrow’s home game against Chelmsley Town at St John’s Park.
The striker scored five times on Tuesday in his 99th game for the club, and is now just one away from becoming AFC’s first century-maker.
He could reach the landmark tomorrow, when Chelmsley Town are the visitors with AFC looking for a fifth win in six.
Still unbeaten in the league in 2018, Hinckley come into this one off the back of their biggest win of the season on Midland Football LeagueTuesday when they put 11 past basement side Coventry Alvis to put themselves within four points of second placed Atherstone.
With five for Richards and two for Steve Hart on the night, it took the duo to 50 goals for the season between them as AFC cemented their record as the second best attack in the league.
Tomorrow, they entertain a Chelmsley side who sit 15th in the Division One table with 30 points from their 31 games thus far. With eight wins and six draws, including a fine away point at Racing Club Warwick on Tuesday, they are ten points clear of the drop and should be looking forward Chelmsley Townto a third consecutive season in Division One next term.
AFC won the reverse fixture earlier this term in what was Dean Thomas’ first game in interim charge, and Richard Lavery’s first back at Hinckley. Hart scored twice alongside Lee Butler, Richard Munday and Isaac Cooper as Hinckley won back in October.
