Match Preview: Littleton (h)

Hinckley AFCHinckley AFC play the first of four home games in eight days when Littleton visit St John’s Park tomorrow evening, kick off 7-45pm.
Both sides struggled with postponements during the early part of 2018, but are now at the other end of the spectrum with plenty of football for both sides in the final few weeks of the campaign.
For Hinckley, it’s the first of four straight home games with the visits of Chelmsley Town and Bolehall Swifts to come before Atherstone Town are the opposition next Tuesday.
Midland Football LeagueThe game also sees the meeting of two of the league’s leading marksmen, with Hinckley’s Steve Hart and Littleton’s Dan Carter both in the top five hotshots in Division One this season.
Only Heather’s Simeon Cobourne has found the net more often than Hart, while Carter has also scored more than 30 times with 33 in his 39 games this year.
With just one defeat in 12 in the league this calendar year, AFC will be looking to extend their run of good form against a Littleton side who have lost eight of their last ten in the league.
That run has seen the Worcestershire side slip to 11th in Littletonthe table but with Carter in their side along with Robbie Bunn, who was part of Bromsgrove Sporting’s title-winning side last season, and Jack Cresswell, who won the Midland League double with Alvechurch, they will pose a threat.
