Big week ahead for Under 18s

After an opening day win, Hinckley AFC’s Under 18s will hope to build their league campaign in a local derby tomorrow before their first ever FA Youth Cup tie next week.

Matt Tomkins scored the only goal as AFC’s young guns won their opening league game against Nottingham last week in front of a good crowd at the Welfare Ground.

Tomorrow (Thursday), they face a local derby at Ibstock as Leicester Road visit in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Eastern Division, AFC looking to make it two wins from two in the game that kicks off at 7-45pm.

Then, next Thursday (6th September) they face another local derby as Aylestone Park are the visitors in the club’s first ever FA Youth Cup tie.

It’s an exciting time for Craig Rose’s men – to see how they get on, admission for both matches is £3 for adults and £2 for concessions.
