Tamworth Academy friendly now at home

Our final pre-season friendly against Tamworth Academy next Saturday has been switched to a home match at Kirkby Road with a limited number of supporters allowed.

We were originally scheduled to travel to The Lamb to take on the step three side’s young prospects, but will now welcome them to our new home in Barwell in our first game there with spectators allowed.

Up to 150 fans will be permitted into the ground next weekend, as per stage one of the FA’s new guidelines released this week.

That means that we will be allowed up to 300 fans for our league games after that, starting with the visit of Cadbury Athletic on Tuesday 8th September.

At present we are not planning to introduce an online booking system due the practicalities and the feasibility for many of our fans who do not have internet access, but we are constantly reviewing the situation.

Admission will be £2 for adults and £1 for concessions with under 16s going free.

Supporters are encouraged to print and complete our Track and Trace form to hand in at the turnstiles, to ease congestion and help the flow of supporters into the ground.
