Hinckley AFC are the team to miss out on an opening day United Counties Division One fixture.
The first set of matches were announced today, but an odd number of teams in the league means one team misses out each matchday.
For the opening day of the season, that team is us.
It means our first match in our new league should be on Tuesday 10th or Wednesday 11th August. However, these fixtures are yet to be announced.
The league will release the full campaign’s matches after leagues at higher levels have confirmed theirs. This is to avoid clashes with teams who groundshare.
