Presentation evening and voting details

Hinckley AFC’s end of season presentation evening will be held on Saturday 14th May with supporters able to vote for awards starting this weekend.

Our annual awards night returns after a two-year covid break with supporters once again able to cast votes for Player of the Year and Young Player.

The Player of the Year is an open vote, with supporters able to vote for your first and second choice for your standout player of 2021/22.

The Young Player award is also voted for by the fans, with six players under the age of 21 shortlisted for you to choose from. They are Isa Abraham, Jack Edwards, Mikkel Hirst, Dan Hoskins, Lewis Padmore and Ben Whitehead.

Voting slips are available at all our remaining home league games, starting this Saturday at home to Radford. Simply head to the club shop behind the goal to have your say.

Luke Richards won the last Supporters’ Player of the Year, in an awards night held virtually on the club podcast in 2020. George Brindley picked up the Managers’ Player while Reece Giles won the Players’ Player and Young Player.

The presentation evening itself will be held at Ashby Road Sports Club on Saturday 14th May, starting at 7.30pm. Admission is £5 and includes a buffet. You can buy tickets from Mark Langley in the club shop, or by emailing mark@hinckleyafc.co.uk.

As ever, a donation of £1 to go towards the cost of the trophies would be greatly appreciated.
