Hinckley AFC 3-1 Saffron Dynamo

A clinical first half display proved the difference as Hinckley AFC’s penultimate pre-season friendly ended in a 3-1 win over Saffron Dynamo.

Hinckley were three goals to the good at the break and although Dynamo pulled one back in the second half, that was the only goal they salvaged.

AFC were ahead within five minutes as Jeremie Agholor’s good work down the left produced a low cross that was converted by Emile Beckford.

Hinckley ‘keeper Brandon Bache made an important save one-on-one to maintain his side’s lead, and it proved important as they added two more goals before the half was up.

Both came from James Reid, who first buried a precise finish inside the far corner, before latching onto a pinpoint pass from Lewis Collins and lobbing over the onrushing ‘keeper.

Dynamo pulled one back from a corner just two minutes into the second half, but Hinckley’s lead wasn’t cut further.

And they took the win heading into Saturday’s final pre-season friendly away to Lichfield City.
