Joe Conneely and Courtney Belford have now become joint managers of Hinckley AFC ahead of the new season.
The duo have been at the club together since the summer of 2020, barring a brief spell towards the start of last season, and have officially been assistants to one another – initially Joe to Courtney, and then Courtney to Joe.
Conneely says the new titles won’t change anything about their duties. He said: “It’ll stay exactly the same as it was.
“Whether it was Courtney’s name above the door or mine, we’ve always done it together so nothing will change in that regard.”
But whichever way around, Hinckley have won 64 of our 90 matches when Joe and Courtney have been at the club together.
They will now officially share managerial duties ahead of the start of pre-season training later this month.
