Midfield man Lewis Rankin has signed to extend his stay at Hinckley AFC into a fourth season for 2023/24.
The technically gifted midfielder joined from Coleshill Town in October 2020 and has gone on to score 26 goals in 74 games in a Hinckley shirt.
He has also been club captain for a couple of seasons and lifted the Midland League Cup trophy in May, setting up Ky Green’s equaliser at Atherstone Town in the semi-final.
Not yet fit to play, his recovery to fitness is progressing quicker than first feared and it is hoped he will be able to feature in the final match of pre-season at Coventry Alvis on 29th July.
