Bennett-Tindall Praises Team Performance

Hinckley AFC winger James Bennett-Tindall praised the team’s first half performance as Carl Abbott’s side broke their league winless streak with a 5-2 victory over Pilkington XXX on Saturday.

Goals from Justin Nisbett (2), Nathan Walker, Mark Bellingham and an own goal meant that Hinckley came home with all three points, despite being pegged back twice by their hosts either side of half time.

And although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, Bennett-Tindall’s pace and skill was vital to the team’s first half performance.

‘I’d like to think I put a few decent balls in for the likes of Bello to get on the end of. It was just a shame he couldn’t quite get to some of them.

‘I thought, as a team, we played really well in the first half, and put some good passing moves together. I managed to get a few crosses in, but we played really well as a team in the first half.

‘In the second half, I thought we died down a bit and could have done a lot more than we did.’
