Alex Morris: March’s Player of the Month

Congratulations to central defender Alex Morris, who supporters voted as Hinckley AFC’s Player of the Month for March.

‘Mozza’ picked up 28% of supporters votes, beating Marco Adaggio in second as well as JJ Melligan and Luke Richards, who finished joint third.

He played three of AFC’s four games during the month, impressing alongside Dom Smith at the heart of the defence.

Alex celebrated in style by winning yesterday’s Man of the Match award for his performance against Heather St John’s, completing a successful couple of months for our ‘twin towers’ at the back, with Smith winning the previous month’s award.

He was presented with his award after yesterday’s game, making it an award-laden afternoon for the former Hednesford and Chasetown defender.
