Ron’s (Half) Marathon Effort

On Sunday 10th May, Hinckley AFC Working Group member Ron Ashby will be going the extra 13.1 miles for the club as he takes part in the Bosworth Half Marathon.

He will be donning a Hinckley AFC replica shirt to run in, both on the day and in training, so look out for the shirt out and about in training over the coming weeks and don’t forget to give him some encouragement!

Last year, Ron and fellow Working Group member Russ Abbott climbed Snowdon in support of Hinckley AFC with representatives of other Fan-Owned clubs, and would like to focus his fundraising efforts on the club again. He will be inviting sponsorship donations at our remaining three fixtures this season, and you can sponsor him in several ways:

– Speak directly to Ron on a matchday.

– Donating at our upcoming Members’ Evening or Presentation Evening.

– Or by posting a cheque made payable to ‘Hinckley AFC’ to Green Acres, Aston Lane, Aston Flamville, Hinckley, LE10 3AA.
