Bardon Hill our Opponents in Final

Bardon Hill will be Hinckley AFC’s opponents in the Jelson Homes Senior Cup Final after they beat Melton Mowbray in the second Semi-Final yesterday evening.

The high-scoring affair saw Bardon overturn a 2-1 half time deficit to record a comprehensive looking 5-3 victory at Loughborough Dynamo’s Nanpantan Road ground.

Bardon are in the East Midlands Counties League, also at step six in the non-league pyramid, and currently sit second. They are the only team that can prevent St Andrews winning the league, lying six points behind them with two games remaining. They have scored 102 league goals this season.

The Final will take place in just under a fortnight on Tuesday 28th April, at Leicestershire and Rutland County FA’s Headquarters Holmes Park, Whetstone. The match will kick off at 7pm.
