Squad update

With a lack of games in recent weeks and a large turnover of players at the club, here’s an update on the latest ins and outs at Hinckley AFC.
Richard Lavery and Tom Cherry have wasted little time in getting down to business, with six additions alongside a few departures. Here’s some information on those who have joined and left since Marske..
In
Carl O’Neill: Experienced goalkeeper who joined from Nuneaton Griff in time to make his debut at Marske in the FA Vase. Counts Coventry Sphinx and Coventry United among his former clubs, and has been captain at Sphinx.
James Jepson: Central midfielder with a wealth of experience in the non-league game, who joined from Quorn. Adds leadership to the middle of the park having had a spell as manager at Rugby Town. Also counts the likes of Corby Town, Shepshed Dynamo and Kettering Town among his former clubs.
Josh Burniston: Young midfielder and former Cambridge United scholar who made an immediate impact at Pershore on Saturday, scoring twice and setting up the other. Formerly of Oadby Town, he signed from United Counties League side Kirby Muxloe, where he played nearly 50 times last season despite his then-teenage years.
Nick Goold: Left-sided winger who ended a long affiliation with county rivals Quorn to link up with AFC. Came through the youth and reserve team setup at Farley Way and made his first start for Hinckley at Pershore on Saturday.
Abdul Muhammad: Young right back who was part of Coventry United’s successful under 21 side last season, where he also featured for the first team. Has also been part of the youth setup at Bedworth United.
Kai Tonge: Winger who signed from Blaby and Whetstone Athletic in the East Midlands Counties League. Has also played locally for Desford.
Leaving the club are Dominic Perkins, who has joined Romulus, Lamar Graham, who will re-join Tamworth’s development setup, and Jamie Hall.
