Central defender Ben Whitehead has returned to Hinckley AFC ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The tall centre-back was a regular part of the side that reached the United Counties Division One play-off final two seasons ago before departing to join Rugby Town.
He featured eight times for them in their promotion campaign at step five, spending another spell on loan with Hinckley in which he brought up his 50th appearance for the club.
Still only turning 21 this month, he is back at Kirkby Road and adds excellent ball-playing ability to the AFC back line.
