Hinckley AFC have been drawn away to Eccleshall in the first round qualifying of this season’s FA Vase.
The draws for the early rounds, released by the FA this morning, pits Hinckley up against fellow step six side Eccleshall at the first stage.
Eccleshall, based between Stafford and Stoke, finished 10th in the North West Counties League Division One South last season. The tie will take place at their Pershall Park home on Saturday 26th August.
The winners of that tie will face a home tie against Bewdley Town in the second round qualifying. The Worcestershire outfit finished 16th in the Midland League Premier Division last season and were handed a bye in the first round qualifying. That tie will take place on Saturday 23rd September.
In the FA Youth Cup, Hinckley’s Under 18s were handed a bye in the extra preliminary round and will host the winners of the tie between Kirby Muxloe and Leicester Road in the preliminary round. That match will take place in the week commencing Monday 4th September.
