Hinckley AFC have completed a move for pacy former Tamworth winger Tom Parker.
The exciting wide man scored the winner at Quorn yesterday, having also netted in our opening pre-season friendly at Heather St John’s.
He joins having been on the fringes of the Lambs’ first team in the last couple of seasons, featuring from the bench and in cup competitions.
He came through the academy there and spent time dual registered last season with Lichfield City, also playing one game in Division One for Coton Green.
Having played for the same Sunday team as Brandon Bache, Sam Walton and Chandler Pegg, Parker has now linked up with the trio again at Hinckley.
Joint-manager Joe Conneely said: “Tom is rapid. He’s good friends with a few lads already, and made an impact when he came on against Heather.
“He’s got good movement, makes clever runs, is quick and can get in behind defenders and make them turn.
“We had Ranks out there last season who’s got plenty of technical ability and wants the ball to feet. Tom is different, more similar to Isa Abraham, and we’re really pleased to have him with us.”
