Matt Buchan’s Photos of 2015: Part Two

After choosing numbers six to ten yesterday, part two sees our club photographer Matt Buchan select his top five images of 2015.

As you may have suspected, the FA Cup run features heavily in the top five. Here’s what Matt’s chosen…

Number Five: Wolves Sporting 0-5 Hinckley AFC I like this shot because of the anticipation on the supporters' faces as Jordan Nadat fires a low shot into the bottom corner to put Hinckley 4-0 up in the FA Vase

Number Four: Hinckley AFC 8-2 Studley This is just a great action of of Luke Richards, mid scissor-kick, scoring Hinckley's seventh of the game.

Number Three: Hinckley AFC 0-0 Walsall Wood This shot was taken from behind the opposite goal, which I was very pleased with as it captures the highlight of the match as Sam Arnold makes an important penalty save on the way to earning a replay

Number Two: Bromsgrove Sporting 2-6 Hinckley AFC For me, this was the most memorable game of the year. Not just because the supporters' fun bus broke down on the way to the match, but the performance was probably the best of 2015! I love this photo for the sheer jubilation on the faces of Jean and Luke, and I'm confident in saying this photo will make any AFC fan smile!

Number One: Hinckley AFC 2-1 Redditch United This my my number one photo from 2015: the jubilant scenes in the dressing room after the famous win over Redditch United. I only managed to get to SJP for the second half due to photographing a wedding in Blaby, but not wanting to miss the game I raced across Leicestershire to witness Hinckley's biggest win to date

‘During the last calendar year, I’ve had many more memories of Hinckley AFC and I’m sure you, as fans, have had several of your own memorable moments too.

Once again I would like to thank Abbo, Tommo and the team along with the backroom staff, the volunteers of the Working Group and you, the fans, who support the club and help create the memories.

Happy New Year to everybody associated with Hinckley AFC. Let’s make 2016 a year to remember.
