An update from the Board

Hinckley AFC’s Board of Directors say that a number of opportunities remain for volunteers to get involved with the club both on matchdays and non-matchdays.

The club are always looking for more volunteers to help make YOUR club the best it can be, with a variety of roles available that mean you don’t even have to miss the excitement of the game.

From selling raffle tickets, to assisting with matchday parking and fetching balls kicked out of the ground, we’re looking to get a rota system going so everyone can do their bit every now and again to help with the smooth running of a matchday.

In addition, the club are always looking for help on the media and communications side, with matchday build up, updates and reports part of the role.

It comes with three of the directors, Paul Griffin, Martin Storey and Lee Dixon, standing down from the Board with immediate effect.

Both Lee and Martin will continue to offer their services in helping out with the I Due Vulcani Hinckley Community Lottery and the Welfare Ground bar respectively.

However, unfortunately Paul has struggled to find time for meetings and matches due to work commitments and feels he is unable to continue his role.

The club would like to place on record our thanks to all three that have put their free time and effort into our club over many different tasks for both the short and long term good of the club.
